Cheep cheep!

  • Mr. Ger Harvey’s eggs (Rhode Island Red chickens) have hatched and two beautiful chickens now take pride of place on the upstairs corridor. Footage of the moment of breakout will shortly be uploaded onto the School website.
  • Many thanks to Vivienne Peat & Jimmy Kavanagh who were in over the weekend as well as Anne O’ Flaherty who undertook perinatal duties!
  • Having arrived early this morning on a flight from London, Cathal, Emma, Ruth & Matt, the members of ‘Graffiti Classics’  came straight to Belgrove and did two recitals for the boys who were a  very enthusiastic audience. The quartet have not been to Belgrove since I started here and we look forward very much to their next visit.
  • There is still some confusion re First Holy Communion time on the 19th- it is at eleven o’ clock. Originally, 11:30 was the time to allow for a situation where there might be a funeral in St. Gabriels, but a wedding in St. John’s required us to rethink- so 11 it is and everybody please be there for quarter to!
