On Friday last, our 2nd classes were delighted to to called on by the 5 Coast Guard staff complete with an array of life-saving and training equipment. The demonstrations features aspects of cliff rescue, CPR, safety at sea and water safety. the staff set up 3 stations in the yard and each boy also got to watch a training video as well as receiving a ‘Safety Squad’ colouring book.
A big thank you to Coast Guard staff Kate, Kevin, Donnchadh, Mark and Fergus.
A special thanks though to Fergus, who is one of our parents and set up this valuable learning experience for the boys.
