As we are in 24-hour bug mode, can I ask Parents to donate any spare boys’ underpants and socks to us. If we have recently given your son a tracksuit change, could you return the tracksuit to us please as stocks are diminishing.
As we strive for our Active School Flag and our Green Schools Flag, I want to thank the Staff and Parents who are active on these committees. We are seeing a much greater awareness by the boys of the benefits of regular physical activity. On wet days, teachers are doing class-based ‘brain breaks’ so that boys stay active.
Our junior infants and first classes held their first rehearsals today and the teachers were very happy with these. Do please keep an eye out for notes as to when to bring in props or costumes. If there is any Parent out there with a clothing design/ rag-trade /manufacture experience, please let us know.
