John McGahern Memorial Lecture

In an event promoted by Clontarf Tourism, Dr. Derek Hand from the English Department in DCU at St. Patrick’s College will deliver a lecture on McGahern’s life and work. As some of you may know, John McGahern taught here in Belgrove at a critical period in his life.

The lecture takes place on this Thursday 29th September at 8 in the Hall. The event is co-ordinated by Mr. Denis McIntyre, another former teacher here.
