Lá glas ar an Aoine seo chughainn

  • Well done to all boys (and indeed girls from our neighbours in Green Lanes and Howth Road School!) who received the Sacrament of First Confession in St. Anthony’s Church on Saturday last.
  • A very special Míle buiochas to the members of the Parents’ Association who sustained all with lovely team juices and rice krispie cakes afterwards.
  • An official from the Palestrina Choir was in today to conduct auditions with the boys in first class.
  • Next Friday is the day of our Céilí Mór san Halla and I know that Rhona Lucas has been shoeing donkeys and stacking barley for the past several weeks.
  • In keeping with the theme of the weekend, we were hoping to have a ‘ glas’ on this Friday. Boys ( and staff!!!!!) should wear anything green in on that day. In keeping with our tradition on such days, we ask each boy to bring in €2 for a charity. This time, we would like to nominate Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin as our charity as they do great work with many families who encounter childhood illness, as well as with the children themselves.
