• Well done to the Clontarf Under 8s who have just walked off the pitch at Ballyboden St. Enda’s after playing a series of games this morning.

43 boys- I am not sure if there were girls playing- with 2005 birthdays did the club and the School proud. In a previous life I was involved as a mentor with Castleknock when our three teams played Clontarf in St. Anne’s and the club here had girls on the team who gave as good as they got- exactly as it should be. Those kids are now in leaving cert……..enjoy these times!!

• Our perennial visitors from West Midlands Theatre Company will arrive on the Ferry on Monday morning with their new show  ‘George and the Dragon’. A great show is in prospect for us all.
