Some weeks ago I wrote asking parents to make themselves available to sit on a committee to review and upgrade our Code of Behaviour, a Code which dated from 2008. Very many parents volunteered to act on the Committee and the members were drawn by lot under the chairmanship of the Principal. The members of the committee undertook their work very efficiently and their draft report was presented at last night’s Board of Management meeting for consideration.
The working draft prepared by the Comittee together with their comment and observations was considered by the Board before the policy was finalised and adopted. The Revised Policy is now uploaded onto the School website under the Policy section and will be posted to all Parents in the coming days.
