For the week that’s in it

Firstly, a big thank you to the members of the Active School Committee who put so much effort into and applied such commonsense to the preparation of our Monster Olympics which we held yesterday and today.  Among the very exciting and horror-themed activities were Hands up!, Graveyard Hurdles, Really Feely, Eyeball Ping Pong, Spider’s Web Challenge, and Room on the Broom Challenge. We were very fortunate to ah e a number of volunteer parents who helped run the activities with the boys. Well done to all.

The day of the Hallowe’en break is traditionally a day when everyone in the school community makes a big effort to dress up in costume whether on the theme of horror or a character from a film. We had a wide range of very imaginative costumes on display today and I want to thank all the Parents who put so much effort into getting their boys ready.

Finally, a date for your diary- The AGM of the Board of Management will be held at 7:30 on Tuesday 8th November in the Hall. This will be followed by a talk for parents entitled Communicating effectively with children which will be given by Joanna Fortune and takes place at 8 right after the AGM.
