Our Active School Motto and Mascot

‘Active Archie’ by Harvey in first class.

The recently-organised mascot competition was a great success. We had well over 100 entries and selecting a winner was very difficult and took a considerable while. The Committee eventually settled on ‘Active Archie’ which was drawn by Harvey in first class.

The Committee chose a winning slogan from another entry – Lochlann in Junior infants came up with ‘Ready, Teidí, Go!’ which really sums up what we are trying to achieve this year.

Finally, the Committee settled on our motto….. it reads ‘More kids, more active, more often’
