Following a suggestion from a boy in 1st class in Belgrove JBS, two cricket coaches from Clontarf Cricket Club came to visit our school for two days. Each class had a 30 minute cricket workshop, introducing them to the fundamentals of cricket including running, throwing, catching and batting. Cricket was a new sport to many of our boys and they thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Some boys even went on to attend the Easter Camps at Clontarf Cricket Club following the workshops. A big “Thank You” to Andrew Poynter and Robert Forrest for teaching us all!
